ONI’s Virtualisation Infrastructure Platforms (VIPs) are based on Cisco’s Data Centre 3.0 architecture that delivers significantly increased consolidations and massively reduced total cost of ownership when compared to the capabilities of conventional server vendor platforms.
ONI’s Data Centre Virtualisation Infrastructure Platforms can deliver typically between 50-70% savings in overall IT costs whilst at the same time enable further capabilities for improving application availability, time to provision and service levels for Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity solutions.
ONI has initially focused on two VIP models covering:
- Server Consolidation and Virtualisation
- Desktop Virtualisation incorporating Unified Communications and Collaboration capabilities as
an integral part of that desktop environment.
